Quality of Life for Vienna
Over the past ten years iconvienna has done
a great job of promoting business contacts
between Austrian and international companies.
By offering a networking platform, they are not only
encouraging project and investment business between
Eastern and Western countries, they also enable a
personal dialogue between the participants. In this way,
iconvienna reinforces Vienna‘s position as a desirable
business location by strengthening its reputation around
the world.
As a municipal company, Wien Holding stands for
future-oriented, sustainable projects which improve the
quality of life of the population and at the same time
secure Vienna‘s position as a business location. Only last
year, Vienna was ranked number three of the smartest
cities in the world by Boyd Cohens Smart City Index. The
term “smart city” describes cities which use resources
intelligently and efficiently and employ innovative
technologies to save costs and energy, therefore
increasing the quality of life in the city. But for a city to
function excellently, numerous agencies and municipal
