More ROI families (74.4%) than NI families (59.6%) had been in their current accommodation for a year
or longer. Around half (47.7% ROI and 56.4% NI) had been there for 5 years or less. A majority in both
jurisdictions (56.8% ROI and 62.3% NI) said they last moved for personal choice, the next most frequent
reason being better facilities (39.7% ROI and 26.1% NI).
