A majority of respondents (60.6% in ROI and 64.7% in NI) had some experience of consulting with
healers or a curing person for ailments. There was no particular age or gender pattern in either
jurisdiction. Common indications for such consultation included eczema, aches and pains, burns and
depression or worries, both in ROI and NI.
