Following the project kick<strong>of</strong>f meeting on March 20, 2001, the Upper <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Water</strong>shed<br />
Stakeholders Group held several meetings that included discussion <strong>of</strong> the development <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> TMDL.<br />
On March 18, 2003, the Upper <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Water</strong>shed Stakeholders Group held a meeting to<br />
discuss the completion <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> TMDL.<br />
On May 13, 2003, the Upper <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Water</strong>shed Stakeholders Group held a meeting to<br />
update the group on the efforts by the various entities involved – BLM, UPCM/EPA, DWQ<br />
(TMDL), Park City Municipal Corporation.<br />
On July 8, 2003, the Upper <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Water</strong>shed Stakeholders Group held a meeting to<br />
discuss the status <strong>of</strong> the Empire Canyon EE/CA, Park City Soils Ordinance, and other documents<br />
recently released as part <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> project.<br />
On February 24, 2004 the Upper <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> <strong>Water</strong>shed Stakeholders Group held a meeting.<br />
An overview <strong>of</strong> the draft TMDL for <strong>Silver</strong> <strong>Creek</strong> was presented to the committee.<br />
The formal 30 day public comment period for the draft TMDL concluded on March 8, 2004.<br />
The 30 day comment period was advertised in the Salt Lake Tribune and Park Record<br />
newspapers. The draft TMDL was also posted on the <strong>Division</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Water</strong> <strong>Quality</strong>’s web site for<br />
ease in accessing the draft document. Comments received and the corresponding responses are<br />
provided in Appendix C.<br />
