LaGuardia offers a 42-hour certificate program in Quickbooks. If you have no background in bookkeeping or accounting, you will need to take Bookkeeping Basics, which is not part
of the certificate program.

Bookkeeping Basics
This 4 hour workshop will review balance sheet and income statement fundamentals and
will help prepare you for Introduction to QuickBooks. You will learn how to use the chart
of accounts, how debits and credits work, and how to avoid common bookkeeping and
accounting mistakes. Emphasis will be on producing accurate and timely accounting
