Cristina Via
First Graduate of College Certificate Program in Accounting
Looking to get an edge on her job responsibilities, Cristina Via
researched different accounting programs and decided to go with
LaGuardia's College Certificate Program in Accounting. "My goal
was to learn in detail the accounting fundamentals that I was doing
at my job by practice," says the construction company office
manager. "I learned a lot in the
program, and now I have more
tools to apply at my job." Having
a bachelor's degree, she qualified
for the college-level program,
which offers four courses
"The program went
above and beyond
my expectations."
covering accounting principles and computer applications as well
income tax procedures. "The program went above and beyond my
expectations," says Cristina, who, along with another classmate, is
the first graduate of the program. "I was looking at lots of colleges
for the same program, and I am so happy I chose LaGuardia!"
