6.7.2.8.4 At the end, add the following sentence: "In addition, fusible<br />

elements conforming to 6.7.2.10.1 may also be used.".<br />

6.7.2.10.1 In the first sentence, replace "110 °C" with "100 °C". In the second<br />

sentence, replace "in no case must they" with "when used for<br />

transport safety purposes, they must not". In the third sentence,<br />

replace "utilized" with "used" and at the end of the sentence, add<br />

"unless specified by special provision TP36 in Column 11 of the<br />

Dangerous Goods List of Chapter 3.2.".<br />

6.7.2.13.1 After sub-paragraph (e), add the following new sub-paragraph (f):<br />

"(f) The cross sectional flow areas of the spring loaded<br />

pressure-relief devices, frangible discs and fusible elements<br />

in mm 2 .".<br />

Renumber existing sub-paragraph (f) as sub-paragraph (g).<br />

6.7.2.13.2, 6.7.3.9.2, 6.7.4.8.2 and 6.7.5.6.2<br />

Replace "ISO 4126-1:1991" with "ISO 4126-1:2004 and ISO 4126-<br />

7:2004".<br />

6.7.2.20.1 Amend to read as follows:<br />

"6.7.2.20.1 Every portable tank must be fitted with a corrosion<br />

resistant metal plate permanently attached to the portable tank in a<br />

conspicuous place readily accessible for inspection. When for<br />

reasons of portable tank arrangements the plate cannot be<br />

permanently attached to the shell, the shell must be marked with at<br />

least the information required by the pressure vessel code. As a<br />

minimum, at least the following information must be marked on the<br />

plate by stamping or by any other similar method:<br />

(a)<br />

(b)<br />

(c)<br />

Owner information<br />

(i) Owner’s registration number;<br />

Manufacturing information<br />

(i) Country of manufacture;<br />

(ii) Year of manufacture;<br />

(iii) Manufacturer’s name or mark;<br />

(iv) Manufacturer’s serial number;<br />

Approval information<br />
