For safety applications from Pl d acc. to EN ISO 13849-1 it is recommended or even<br />
demanded to interconnect two complementary outputs as a group to be able to e.g. control 2<br />
external power contactors.<br />

The two external monitoring contacts are switched in series, supplied by the clock signal P1<br />
and read via input 1. Input 1 was chosen as readback input, but any other input can be<br />
assigned <strong>for</strong> this purpose.<br />
For higher requirements you must make sure that at least 1 switching operation must take<br />
place every 24 hours, in order to test the switching ability of the external power contactor.<br />
