11.8.3 Generating <strong>PDFlib</strong> Blocks with pdfmarks<br />

As an alternative to creating Blocks with the Plugin, Blocks can be created by inserting<br />

appropriate pdfmark commands into a PostScript stream, and distilling it to PDF. Details<br />

of the pdfmark operator are discussed in the Acrobat documentation. The following<br />

fragment shows pdfmark operators which can be used to generate the Block definition<br />

in the preceding section:<br />
