-qnoprint Option<br />

Syntax<br />

-qnoprint<br />

Prevents the compiler from creating the listing file, regardless of the settings of<br />

other listing options.<br />

Specifying -qnoprint on the command line enables you to put other listing options<br />

in a configuration file or on @PROCESS directives and still prevent the listing file<br />

from being created.<br />

Rules<br />

A listing file is usually created when you specify any of the following options:<br />

-qattr, -qlist, -qlistopt, -qphsinfo, -qsource, -qreport, or -qxref. -qnoprint prevents<br />

the listing file from being created by changing its name to /dev/null, a device that<br />

discards any data that is written to it.<br />
