-qxref Option<br />

Syntax<br />

-qxref[=full] | -qnoxref<br />

XREF[(FULL)] | NOXREF<br />

Determines whether to produce the cross-reference component of the attribute and<br />

cross-reference section of the listing.<br />

If you specify only -qxref, only identifiers that are used are reported. If you specify<br />

-qxref=full, the listing contains in<strong>for</strong>mation about all identifiers that appear in the<br />

program, whether they are used or not.<br />

If -qxref is specified after -qxref=full, the full cross-reference listing is still<br />

produced.<br />

You can use the cross-reference listing during debugging to locate problems such<br />

as using a variable be<strong>for</strong>e defining it or entering the wrong name <strong>for</strong> a variable.<br />
