Traffic<br />

Prepare a road dilapidation report be<strong>for</strong>e construction commences and after<br />

construction is complete <strong>for</strong> all non-arterial roads likely to be used by<br />

construction traffic. Provide a copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> report to <strong>the</strong> Council.<br />

Consult with Council to develop management techniques <strong>for</strong> construction traffic<br />

on local roads.<br />

Air Quality<br />

Identify dust sensitive land uses/industries and consult with <strong>the</strong>m about <strong>the</strong><br />

proposed mitigation measures.<br />

Design monitoring system <strong>for</strong> dust deposition and TSP and commence<br />

monitoring be<strong>for</strong>e construction commences.<br />

Noise<br />

Ensure all plant, vehicles and machinery proposed to be used during<br />

construction have evidence <strong>of</strong> compliance with recommended noise levels<br />

outlined in AS2436, 1981.<br />

Ensure all temporary noise barriers are erected be<strong>for</strong>e commencing<br />

construction (refer to EIS Section 5.9).<br />

Flora and Fauna<br />

Ensure construction footprints are surveyed and marked using poly-web fencing<br />

or o<strong>the</strong>r such measures, be<strong>for</strong>e commencing vegetation clearing.<br />

Where possible seed <strong>of</strong> locally native species is to be collected be<strong>for</strong>e<br />

commencing construction and/or during construction to provide seed stock <strong>for</strong><br />

revegetation purposes to <strong>the</strong> satisfaction <strong>of</strong> a qualified bushland regenerator.<br />

Indigenous & Non-Indigenous Heritage<br />

Ensure temporary protective fencing is placed around sites considered to be<br />

archaeologically sensitive and <strong>for</strong> which Consent to Destroy Permits are not<br />

being obtained.<br />

Prepare <strong>Plans</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>for</strong> any historically significant items potentially<br />

affected by <strong>the</strong> Project. <strong>Plans</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Management</strong> shall be prepared in consultation<br />

with <strong>the</strong> Council and NSW Heritage Office.<br />
