n tool-making SCHERDEL aims to
meet the highest standards. Here,
inspiration and creativity, combined
with careful planning and the expertise
to know what is technically feasible,
provide the basis for the design and
manufacture of highly complex tools.
For this work, the SCHERDEL Group
can call on the experience of a highly
committed staff and state-of-the-art
technologies: modern CAD equipment
with online data transfer to the customer
is used for the production of
3-D models. In the developers' network
this 3-D data generates the technology
programs for controlling the machining
process. The DNC data-networked
machinery includes efficient facilities
for wire-EDM and NC three-axis and
five-axis machining, as well as HSC
milling machines for high-speed cutting,
or pressing and stamping
machines able to exert a pressure of
up to 600 tonnes. SCHERDEL's
expertise is also evident in the manufacture
of punching, bending and
stamping tools, jigs and fixtures, reference
gauges, follow-on composite
tools and transfer tools, isostatic
pressing tools and peripheral equipment
for automatic handling machines.
Here, SCHERDEL has set standards
of quality and precision which are hard
