understand the effectiveness and efficiency of air mobility operations is contingent<br />

upon an effective, global command and control system. <strong>The</strong>refore, we must continue<br />

to modernize our C2 systems and infrastructure, leverage the most current information<br />

technologies available, and revise our processes to increase mobility asset visibility and<br />

availability to meet the warfighters’ needs.<br />

Some Final Thoughts<br />

<strong>The</strong> future of air mobility is very bright and gives us the opportunity to build upon the<br />

capabilities we provide to today’s warfighters. We will remain on course—win the war<br />

on terrorism while we recapitalize and modernize our air mobility fleet, improve our<br />

capability to operate in threat areas, and streamline our air mobility processes. Most<br />

importantly, there should be no doubt that our greatest strength is our people…<strong>Air</strong><br />

<strong>Mobility</strong> Warriors. We must continue our focus on taking care of them; ensure they have<br />

the best training and the proper equipment to meet our nation’s air mobility needs.<br />
