1933 Essex-Terraplane Series K - Panel Delivery
Shown in Butler's "History of Hudson" is this 1933
Essex-Terraplane Standard Panel Delivery. Though a
Factory List offering, this model appears to have been
custom built to customer specification; in this case
possibly Breamer Sales Corp., whose logo appears on
the side just to the rear of the door.
Featured were a sliding side door fitted with a
divided side window, half of which was moveable to
provide ventilation and a high roof line which allowed
verticle load spacing. The panel deliveries
weighed in at 2,610 pounds and cost $530.
It was produced on the standard Series K 106 inch
wheelbase. Though these models are shown as Essex-
Terraplane in 1933 the astute viewer will note the
hubcaps say Terraplane 6
