Terraplane Commercial Vehicles
1933 Essex-Terraplane Series K -
Panel Delivery
Another 1933 Panel Delivery van, this
one being operated by Seneca Corp., according
to the logo on the panel just behind the
door.
According to Butler this model utilized
Terraplane sedan front doors and cowl while
the windshield header retained the visor from
1932.
Though this model was shown in sales
literature it does not appear in price and
weight listings. Given the lower roof line it
was not very useful for vertical loads, but
would have been very suitable for other specialized
delivery requirements, such as caterers
and florist deliveries.
1935 Terraplane Series 51 G - Panel Delivery
The gently flowing lines can be seen here on this
Sedan Panel Delivery. Floor dimensions for cargo
were 72 inches long x 50 inches high. It was built
on the Series 51 G chassis of 112 inch wheelbase
