Under 14 (Pee Wee) Girls<br />

“A” Category: No population or community limits<br />

“B” Category: No population limit, maximum 6 communities<br />

“C” Category: Maximum 15,000 population limit, maximum 6 communities<br />

Under 16 (Bantam) Girls<br />

“A” Category: No population or community limits<br />

“B” Category: No population limit, maximum 6 communities<br />

“C” Category: Maximum 15,000 population limit, maximum 7 communities<br />

Under 18 (Midget) Girls<br />

“A” Category: No population or community limits<br />

“B” Category: No population or community limits<br />

“C” Category: Maximum 15,000 population limit, maximum 7 communities<br />

Exception:<br />

Teams from communities in the “C” categories may exceed the population and center limits<br />

as long as there is a team from the same centre registered in an “A” or “B” category.<br />

e) Teams from Regina and Saskatoon registering in U12 (Squirt), U14 (Pee<br />

Wee) and U16 (Bantam) Girls must have an “A” or “B” team in each city<br />

Zone. A team from the same Zone in Regina and Saskatoon can enter U12<br />

(Squirt), U14 (Pee Wee) or U16 (Bantam) “C” as long as there is an “A” or<br />

“B” team registered in the same city zone.<br />

f) For the purpose of determining centres any community with a population of<br />

100 or less will not be counted in the maximum number of centres allowed.<br />

g) All teams registering for Minor Provincial Championships must have<br />

their rosters filed with their local Minor Association or sponsoring<br />

centre for approval before being forwarded to the <strong>Softball</strong><br />

<strong>Saskatchewan</strong> Office prior to the Roster Registration Deadline Date.<br />

h) Teams Registering in the U12 (Squirt) A, B & C Girls, U12 (Squirt) A and<br />

B Boys, U14 (Pee Wee) A, B and C Girls, U14 (Pee Wee) A and B Boys,<br />

U16 (Bantam) A, B and C Girls and U16 (Bantam) A and B Boys in<br />

REGINA and SASKATOON:<br />

i) Must use the same player line-up that is registered with their Local<br />

League. Player selection must be made from within the city limits and<br />

zone boundaries as laid down by the Saskatoon and Regina Minor<br />

<strong>Softball</strong> Leagues.<br />

ii) May add up to two (2) players from the same local league zone to their<br />

Provincial Roster up to seven (7) days prior to the Roster Registration<br />

deadline date to REPLACE players that are unable to participate in<br />

Provincials. Notification of players being added in replacement must be<br />

in writing and filed with local minor association for their approval<br />

before being forwarded to the <strong>Softball</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> Office prior to the<br />

Roster Registration Deadline Date.<br />

iii) Players who are non-residents of Regina and Saskatoon may register in<br />

Regina or Saskatoon if they attend school in Regina or Saskatoon six<br />

(6) months prior to the Roster Registration Deadline Date. Players will<br />

be placed on teams according to Regina or Saskatoon Minor <strong>Softball</strong><br />

League restrictions.<br />
