4.02 Zone Boundaries<br />
The boundaries of the Administrative Zones may be established and varied from<br />
time to time in the discretion of the Board.<br />
Section Five - Directors<br />
5.01 Board of Directors<br />
The affairs of the Association shall be managed by the Board, which shall consist of<br />
President (elected), Past-President, eight (8) directors - one Director shall be elected<br />
from each of the eight (8) Administrative Zones and one (1) Director may be<br />
appointed by the Board of Directors this position will be the Aboriginal Director.<br />
Without restricting the generality of the foregoing, the Board may make, amend or<br />
repeal all operating rules, and decisions in respect of matters pertaining to:<br />
a) the game of softball;<br />
b) the format, scheduling, administering and playing of tournaments and playoffs;<br />
c) the classification of players, teams and leagues;<br />
d) the qualifications of players, teams and leagues;<br />
e) the eligibility of any player to be a member of or play for any team or in any<br />
league;<br />
f) the eligibility of any coach or manager to coach or manage any team or in any<br />
league;<br />
g) the eligibility of any team to play in any league;<br />
h) the eligibility of any member of an umpires' association to umpire the game of<br />
softball;<br />
i) the better carrying out of the aims and objectives of the Association.<br />
5.02 Special Determining Powers<br />
Without restricting the generality of paragraph 5.01, the Board may govern, regulate<br />
and make decisions respecting any matter concerning the affairs of the Association<br />
and, in particular, but without limitation, has the authority to:<br />
a) appoint one or more persons to represent the Association at the annual meeting<br />
of The Canadian Amateur <strong>Softball</strong> Association;<br />
b) govern, regulate and make decisions respecting any matter concerning amateur<br />
fast-pitch, slo-pitch and modified/orthodox softball in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>;<br />
c) govern, regulate and make decisions respecting any matter concerning play-off<br />
and tournament play in <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>;<br />
d) suspend the membership of any member of the Association for any reason it<br />
deems sufficient;<br />
e) rule that any player is ineligible to be a member of or play for any team or in<br />
any league;<br />
f) rule that any coach or manager is ineligible to coach or manage any team or in<br />
any league;<br />
g) rule that a member of any umpires' association is ineligible to umpire in any<br />
league;<br />
