MEMBERSHIP ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (M.A.P.) GRANTS<br />
<strong>Softball</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> receives funding from Sask. Sport Inc. to provide Programs<br />
for our members. Following is a list of M.A.P. Grants available from <strong>Softball</strong><br />
<strong>Saskatchewan</strong>.<br />
a) Provincial Championships & Sask Summer Games Playoffs<br />
maximum $200.00/team participating<br />
b) N.C.C.P. Coaching Clinic<br />
covers all expenses except registration fee's and manuals.<br />
c) Grassroots Coaching Clinics<br />
designed for the beginner coach.<br />
d) Umpire Certification Schools<br />
development for umpires from Youth to Level V.<br />
e) Grassroots Umpire Schools<br />
designed for local leagues to introduce the basics of umpiring.<br />
f) Athlete Skills Clinics<br />
provide clinics on Basic Skills, Pitching & Hitting.<br />
g) Learn To Play Orientations<br />
provide orientations for Coaches and Parents teaching athletes under<br />
10 years of age.<br />
h) <strong>Softball</strong> Development<br />
provide Minor Leagues with resources to purchase equipment and<br />
softballs while allowing Adult Leagues to assist with umpire costs for<br />
year-end tournaments.<br />
