Independent enquirers<br />

Focus:<br />

Young people process and evaluate <strong>in</strong>formation <strong>in</strong> their <strong>in</strong>vestigations, plann<strong>in</strong>g what to<br />

do and how to go about it. They take <strong>in</strong>formed and well-reasoned decisions, recognis<strong>in</strong>g<br />

that others have different beliefs and attitudes.<br />

Young people:<br />

● plan and carry out research, appreciat<strong>in</strong>g the consequences <strong>of</strong> decisions<br />

● explore issues, events or problems from different perspectives<br />
