Things have changed and the
times are evolving surely.
I was left amazed in my
capacity as a scribe for this
column this other day when I was
welcomed by a totally thought provoking
story on a Facebook page prescribing that
it is actually, “Wow and out of this world
to have group sex.”
In the hey days sex was predominantly
a very conservative and sensitive issue
that could not be discussed in public
forums, let alone aired on social media
platforms like in the current scenario
posting about sexually related issues on
their Facebook pages.
The administrator(s) of
the page is running
a series of
stories about
people who are engaging in group sex, a
thing deemed unethical and unorthodox
by some who are lobbying for the total
eradication of HIV/AIDS and STIs.
Judging by the number and nature of
comments below the story, it can be aptly
said that those things we never imagined
could happen during the time we became
sexually active, are the same things that
have taken over the youths with so much
vigour and zeal. In other words it seems
like for the youths it is the in thing to do.
Surely there is no amount of advice
that can sap the energy out of this gross
misdemeanour; the youths of today have
changed. Even the biblical teachings that
one’s body should be his/her temple seem
to have faded during this era. We are in
the era were sex sells and is no longer as
taboo as it was before.
The pages are promulgating that, it
is actually enjoyable and fascinating to
have group sex and the idea will cascade
to many. It may even continue till we get
to a time whereby it will be very normal
to have sex as a group.
It is of paramount importance to note
especially when these stories are coming
out. My intelligence tells me it is already
practised out there by those careless
enough to contract and spread diseases
knowingly and unknowingly.
The people of our time have witnessed
and can testify that people are much
more interested in experimenting than
before. The thrill and curiosity may be
