6. Determine most appropriate tools of communications to reach key stakeholders and audiences<br />
7. Coordinate regular stakeholder in<strong>for</strong>mation updates<br />
8. Review any proposed media statements or releases<br />
9. Contribute to the effective operation of the TRRG<br />
10.Participate in debrief process and advise on gaps in provision and dissemination of in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />
Planning<br />
1. Assess potential implications <strong>for</strong> regional tourism<br />
2. Start planning process to mitigate potential impacts<br />
3. Consult with regional tourism operators as appropriate<br />
4. Consider need to reschedule/make special preparations <strong>for</strong> any upcoming public events<br />
(eg seminars, conferences etc)<br />
5. Assist with media and website management<br />
6. Contribute to the effective operation of the TRRG<br />
7. Once crisis is over, participate in debrief process<br />
8. As required, update procedures and coordinate stakeholder de-briefings<br />
9. If appropriate, send letters of appreciation to relevant staff and organisations that assisted the TRRG.<br />
