DAMAN<br />
CGWWA Daman is functioning with 150 CG families <strong>and</strong> their activities are elucidated below :-<br />
(a) Tatrakshika Day was celebrated <strong>and</strong> a picnic was organised on Children’s day <strong>and</strong> a fancy<br />
dress competition was held at CGKG play school.<br />
(b) CGWWA members visited Dunetha Slums <strong>and</strong> distributed food packets among the children.<br />
They also visited old age home <strong>and</strong> treated the aged inmates <strong>to</strong> a lunch <strong>and</strong> presented them a<br />
wall clock.<br />
(c) CGWWA organised health lectures, Talent Nite <strong>and</strong> participated in a Walkathon (from Daman<br />
Jetty <strong>to</strong> Devka beach).<br />
(d)<br />
CGWWA had put up a stall at CG Mela.<br />
(e) A Demo therapy training on Sujok, Accupressure, Feng Shui Pyramid (Vaastu) <strong>and</strong> magnet<br />
therapy was also conducted. CGWWA also celebrated 'VANMAHOTSAV".<br />
GOA<br />
CGWWA Goa is functioning with 125 CG families <strong>and</strong> their activities were as follows :-<br />
(a) Soft <strong>to</strong>y making classes <strong>and</strong> Children talent hunt were organised. Tatrakshika Day <strong>and</strong><br />
Christmas were celebrated.<br />
(b)<br />
CGWWA actively participated in beach volleyball <strong>to</strong>urnament <strong>and</strong> sports day games.<br />
(c) A talk on health <strong>and</strong> nutrition was given. Mehndi course was started at the recently inaugurated<br />
beauty parlour.<br />
NEW MANGALORE<br />
CGWWA New Mangalore is functioning with 100 CG families whose activities were :-<br />
(a) Eid, Diwali, Children’s Day, Tatrakshika Raising Day <strong>and</strong> Independence Day were celebrated<br />
at CGKG School<br />
(b)<br />
Picnic <strong>to</strong> Pilikula Zoo <strong>and</strong> park was organised for CG school children.<br />
(c) Visit <strong>to</strong> Samvedana (home for HIV infected/affected children) was organised by CGWWA<br />
members. They donated books, cash, clothes <strong>and</strong> grocery items. A sum of Rs. 2000/- was spent<br />
from CGWWA Fund for inmates of the home.<br />
