Shahrokh used the Vatan Parastan for his own personal benefit only,<br />
promising the members that they would receive high positions in the Iranian<br />
government after Persia had been taken over by the Germans. In order to<br />
counteract the influence of Shahrokh and his party, the Ghashghais founded<br />
an opposition party which worked openly against Vatan Parastan. As far as<br />
Gorechi knows, Vatan Parastan was never employed by any of the German intelligence<br />
