Abort acquisition with error (C)<br />

Aborts an experiment that has been submitted to acquisition. If the experiment<br />

is active, it is aborted immediately, all data is discarded, <strong>and</strong> the experiment is<br />

interpreted as an error. Any data collected from an earlier block size transfer is<br />

retained. If any werr processing is defined, that processing occurs, followed by<br />

any queued experiments. The login name, <strong>and</strong> the FID directory path in file<br />

are used as keys to find the proper experiment to abort.<br />

In some circumstances, there is a delay between the time go is entered <strong>and</strong> the<br />

acquisition is started. During this time, instructions based on the selected pulse<br />

sequence are being generated. This is signified by the letters “PSG” appearing<br />

in the upper left corner of the status window. An aa comm<strong>and</strong> issued under<br />

these circumstances reports that no acquisition is active but it instead stops the<br />

instruction generation process <strong>and</strong> the message “PSG aborted” appears.<br />
