We launched<br />
Right House<br />
We launched Right House during the year to<br />
provide comfortable, healthy and energy efficient<br />
homes by providing a single source for advice and<br />
products. Right House started commercial operations<br />
in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch<br />
this financial year.<br />
50,000 Smart meters. We reached<br />
the milestone of 50,000 Arc Innovations’ smart meters installed<br />
in Christchurch BY may 2008, well on the way to a final target of<br />
100,000 customer installations.<br />
Queens Wharf – Wellington<br />
We moved into our new five-star Green Star rated building in October<br />
2007. We won two prizes in the Property Council New Zealand Awards<br />
for 2008 – ‘Best Commercial Office Building’ and ‘Best Green Building’.<br />

We managed a difficult and complex situation – a “perfect storm” of adverse events – during<br />
the autumn and winter of 2008. In addition to the second lowest hydro lake inflows on record,<br />
there were unexpected thermal plant outages and decommissionings in the North Island.<br />

certification covers the electricity<br />
