Key Features – There were no rare species observed on the site and most of it is
in cattle pasture. However, the Wet Prairie and Depression Marshes are in good
condition. There is Brazilian pepper in the pastures.
Importance – Although no exceptional natural resources are found at this site it is
immediately adjacent to the southern boundary of the existing Ten Mile Creek
conservation lands. It would serve as a buffer to the core conservation area.
Connectivity – Within 500 feet of existing conservation lands.
Proximity to Urban Areas – Greater than a half mile from an urban center.
Proximity to primary and secondary roads – Within 500 feet of a major roadway.
