Anatoly Kruchinin, 47, began his career at<br />
<strong>Severstal</strong> in 1982. In 1993, he became Chief<br />
Power Engineer and in March 1999, he was<br />
made Commercial Director. From January<br />
2002, Anatoly worked as Executive<br />
Director of <strong>Severstal</strong>, becoming the<br />
company’s CEO in July 2002. Since<br />
December 2006, he has been Chief<br />
Executive Officer of Cherepovets Steel<br />
Mill. Anatoly is a graduate of the Ivanovo<br />
Power Engineering Institute and holds<br />
an MBA degree from National Economic<br />
Academy under the Government<br />
of Russia.<br />
Roman Deniskin<br />
CEO, <strong>Severstal</strong> Resources<br />
Roman Deniskin, 40, has been Director<br />
General of <strong>Severstal</strong> Resources since<br />
2002. From 1995 to 2002, Roman worked<br />
in the Moscow office of McKinsey &<br />
Company, advising steel, mining and<br />
smelting companies in Russia, the US and<br />
the UK. Roman has a mathematics and<br />
mechanics degree from Moscow State<br />
University, from where he graduated<br />
magna cum laude, and also an MA in<br />
economics from Ann Arbor University<br />
(Michigan).<br />
Gregory Mason<br />
COO, OAO <strong>Severstal</strong> and<br />
CEO, <strong>Severstal</strong> International<br />
Gregory Mason, 56, joined <strong>Severstal</strong><br />
in 2004 having previously been a<br />
managing partner in Metal Strategies,<br />
an international metals industry<br />
management-consulting firm. In 2006,<br />
he was appointed as Chief Operating<br />
Officer of <strong>Severstal</strong> and in 2008 as CEO<br />
of <strong>Severstal</strong> International. Previous roles<br />
include Vice President of the Detroit Steel<br />
Company, Technical Director of Caparo<br />
Steel, Director of Steelmaking Technology<br />
at Davy International and Chief Engineer<br />
at KRUPP Industries (a division of KRUPP<br />
Stahl). Gregory is a registered professional<br />
engineer in the USA. He received his<br />
Masters degree from the Naval University<br />
of St. Petersburg.<br />
