the use of various analytical and field equipments during their visit.<br />
o conducted field demonstration classes to trainees of Bamboo Technical Support<br />
Group from various states on 17 July <strong>2008</strong>, 23 Septmber <strong>2008</strong>, 27 November <strong>2008</strong><br />
and 28 December <strong>2008</strong>.<br />

o acted as a resource person and imparted training and demonstration on 'Clonal<br />
Propagation of Teak' to a group of progressive farmers from Vidharbha (MP)<br />
during their training program in KFRI.<br />
o delivered a lecture on 'Nursery Practices: Vegetative Propagation' during the training<br />
course on 'Tree Farming in Agroforestry Systems and Wastelands' conducted at KFRI<br />
on 20-29 May 2009<br />
o provided training and demonstration on Clonal Propagation of Teak to a<br />
group of forest officers from Myanmar.<br />
o provided training and demonstration on Clonal Propagation of Teak to <strong>Forest</strong>er<br />
Trainees from Arippa <strong>Forest</strong> School, to a batch of Wood Science Students of<br />
Kannur University and a batch of M.Sc. students of Devagiri College, Kozhikode<br />
during their visit to KFRI.<br />

o as part of KFRI Ext. 01/02, provided wood testing services to various end users<br />
like Neyveli Lignite Corporation, TELK Angamaly, <strong>Kerala</strong> Council for<br />
Historical <strong>Research</strong>, Customs, and other stakeholders.<br />
o served as resource person and handled wood anatomy lecture classes and<br />
practical training in the Wood Science laboratory for 11 M.Sc. Wood Science<br />
& Technology students of Kannur University during 16-21 March 2009.<br />
