Survey Camp should be completed before the commencement <strong>of</strong> 7 th semester. The minimum duration <strong>of</strong> the<br />
survey camp should be one week The use <strong>of</strong> total station is compulsory for survey work. Total 100 marks for<br />
08.708 can be distributed as 40+10+30+20 for seminar, preliminary work for the 8 th semester project, survey<br />
camp and industrial training respectively.<br />
Students have to visit at least one industry relevant to civil engineering as part <strong>of</strong> industrial training and spend a<br />
minimum <strong>of</strong> one week to understand the processes/activities. A report <strong>of</strong> the same should be submitted at the<br />
end <strong>of</strong> 7 th semester and evaluation should be based on this report.<br />
