various shops, restaurants, attractions and services <strong>Townsville</strong> has on offer. It also helps <strong>to</strong> identify<br />
appropriate and accessible accommodation. It is a valuable <strong>to</strong>ol for everyone with limited mobility<br />
including people with a disability, seniors and parents with strollers.<br />

<strong>Townsville</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Council</strong> is an industry affiliate of the Queensland Government Companion Card program.<br />
Through this program, a carer or companion accompanying a person with a disability who holds a<br />
Companion Card is able <strong>to</strong> gain free admission <strong>to</strong> public events, programs and activities which are publicly<br />
funded by council at the following council facilities:<br />
>> <strong>Townsville</strong> Civic Theatre<br />
>> Riverway Arts Centre, and<br />
>> All council pools.<br />
