SERVICES: Nutrition classes and workshops are arranged with individuals and groups throughout the county. Topics are tailored<br />
to requests and needs. The focus of the nutrition programs pertain to basic nutrition, feeding children, food safety, shopping skills,<br />
food preparation and preservation. Breast-feeding peer counseling is also available. EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition<br />
Education Program) and Eat Smart New York! Attempt to help individuals and families with limited resources develop improved<br />
diets.<br />

SERVICES: Provides an opportunity for individuals to develop the skills and understanding of the English language. Adults must<br />
be an <strong>Oswego</strong> <strong>County</strong> resident and 16 years old or older. There is no charge for this course. Books are loaned to the student.<br />
Class is located in <strong>Oswego</strong>. Students must take an oral test upon enrollment. Registration is ongoing and on site. Documentation<br />

Educational Development (GED) Test. Adults must be an <strong>Oswego</strong> <strong>County</strong> resident, no longer enrolled in high school and 17 years<br />
or older. There is no charge for this course. Books are loaned to the student. Registration is ongoing. Day and evening classes<br />
are located throughout <strong>Oswego</strong> <strong>County</strong>. GED Home study is available to those who cannot attend a regularly scheduled class.<br />
Students must meet a minimum requirement based on test scores and be 21 years old or older. Registration for both programs is<br />
ongoing. Call 963-4256 for an appointment to begin classes.<br />
