Bulletin 150 SMC Flex
Multi-motor
Applications
The SMC-Flex controller will operate with more than one motor connected to it. To size the
controller, add the total nameplate amperes of all of the connected loads. The stall and jam
features should be turned off. Separate overloads are still required to meet the National Electric
Code (NEC) requirements.
Note:
The SMC-Flex controller’s built-in overload protection cannot be used in multi-motor
applications.
