Range of applications<br />
A two-part tool system consisting of a<br />
holder and an interchangeable blade. All<br />
holders in short and long versions, <strong>with</strong><br />
<strong>straight</strong> or taper <strong>shank</strong>, are equipped<br />
<strong>with</strong> internal coolant feed. Wide spiral<br />
flutes and flow-back coolant feed ensure<br />
optimum chip removal.<br />
To replace blades simply slacken two<br />
clamp screws. Lining up of the replacement<br />
blades is not necessary.<br />
Due to the fact that this tool is controlled<br />
mostly by the chisel edge, it is not suitable<br />
for opening-up pre-drilled or pre-cast<br />
holes. It is particularly suitable for drilling<br />
into the solid.<br />
For drilling of steel and cast steel,<br />
alloyed and unalloyed <strong>with</strong> a tensile<br />
strength of appr. 1100 N/mm 2 . Grey cast<br />
iron, malleable cast iron, spheroidal<br />
graphite cast iron, sintered iron, German<br />
silver, bronze, brass.<br />
