A heavy-duty slam-action latch for single-point engagement. The
largest in the Eberhard family of slam-action latches, this model is
especially designed with more generous space under the paddle
handle. Under adverse weather conditions, a gloved hand can easily
lift the paddle handle to open the latch. The paddle handle and
trigger are welded construction for heavy-duty use.

The 4909-U is a steel paddle and receptacle finished with a black
powder coat. This slam paddle is designed for compartment doors.
The product is key-locking (CH-501-CH510) Paddle is blind mount
incorporating (4) M6 x 12MM mounting studs, and includes a black
plastic flange trim gasket shipped loose.
