The latch hook is made of noncorrosive manganese bronze. The lock is designed to allow the latch to be disengaged from the inside of the compartment by simply inserting your finger in the window of the case and depressing the latch sideways. The latch can be disengaged even when locked from the outside. The mortise cylinder required for locking is not supplied. Weight: .71 lbs. Available in zinc-plated finish. page 44
