ACFT with wingspan 56m/184ft or over should<br />
not taxi on part of APN (TWY D) next to the<br />
boundaries of stands 8, 5, 2 if occupied.<br />

7. START UP<br />
Request start up when ready to start ENG<br />
immediately and ACFT doors are closed. When<br />
the expected delay at the holding point is 15min<br />
or less, ACFT will be cleared to start ENG<br />

NAP DEPARTURE<br />
Departures<br />
Avoid overflying Iraklion City.<br />
All aircraft with MTOM more than 5700kg<br />
departing RWY 27 shall climb after take-off<br />
to at least 3000ft with power and flap settings<br />
as described in ICAO standard NAP<br />
(Procedure NDAP1).<br />
Normal take-off thrust is recommended.<br />
All RWY 27 departures as soon as possible<br />
after take-off at 600ft should turn right on<br />
heading for departure.<br />
Arrivals<br />
Final approach shall be carried out strictly<br />
at the angle defined by the PAPI.<br />
RWY 09 arrivals are requested to make<br />
adjustments for a short final approach<br />
unless instructed otherwise by ATC.<br />
Change: TWR freq, NAP, stands 10A and 1A added, Apron L added, note 5 added.<br />
