Waste<br />

Work with our waste providers to improve<br />

the understanding and standard of waste<br />

reporting. The recycling rate target for retail<br />

assets is 20 per cent and for office assets it<br />

is 70 per cent.<br />

Achieved our waste recycling rate target for our retail business with<br />

26 per cent of waste diverted from landfill. Our office business fell<br />

short of its waste recycling rate target with 66 per cent of waste<br />

diverted from landfill.<br />

Implemented minimum standards for waste in our Commercial<br />

Property sustainability policies.<br />

> Improve office waste recycling through engagement with our<br />

Facility Managers.<br />

> Increase our recycling rate target to 30 per cent in our retail assets.<br />

The target for recycling at our office assets is 70 per cent.<br />

> Maintain reporting standards established in FY09 and implement<br />

further waste auditing in line with the NABERS Waste protocol.<br />

> Review our biodiversity approach and build best practice case<br />
