Special Valves
GEA Tuchenhagen’s range of special valves for the
pharmaceutical and bio-processing industries comprises
modulating control valves, process and safety relief valves.
Our qualified and experienced staff are able to assist and
advise in special valve sizing and selection.

The modulating control valves are available with either
piston actuator (Type N) or with a diaphragm style
actuator (Type S or Type A).
The Type N valve is available with the new T.VIS ® P-20
4-20 mA I/P positioner for basic control applications with
Equal Percentage or Linear trim from OD 1" through OD 6".
The diaphragm activated valves Type S or Type A have a
wide variety of options and accessories to
provide control solutions for the most
demanding process conditions.
Process relief valve Type Q is
available to relieve excess process
pressures with adjustable
actuators from 15 PSI.g through
290 PSI.g (subject to valve size).
The safety relief valve Type 483
has a very low dead space ratio,
particularly when fitted to the in
line access unit. All safety relief
valves available through GEA
Tuchenhagen are ASME approved.
