Materials<br />
All <strong>GEA</strong> <strong>Tuchenhagen</strong> valves supplied to the pharmaceutical/bio-processing industries are available with<br />
a full range of quality documentation to ensure compliance with the FAT/SAT protocols and procedures.<br />
All process wetted materials are supplied as standard to AISI 316L and in<br />
accordance with the ASME BPE.<br />
Refer to the chart below to determine the contents of the basic and ASME BPE documentation packages<br />
that are provided with the valves. The ASME BPE Plus package provides for those applications where all<br />
wetted parts, in addition to the housing, require special manufacturing process documentation.<br />

Plus<br />
High alloys such as AL6XN and Hastelloy C22 are available for almost<br />
all products.<br />
Gasket materials are available in EPDM, FKM and HNBR. We are also<br />
able to supply gaskets in ISOLAST and other materials such as PEEK and<br />
encapsulated PTFE.<br />
All standard gasket materials are certified compliant with USP Class VI<br />
requirements.<br />

Surface Finish<br />
The housing and, if specified, all wetted parts can be supplied with a<br />
surface finish of up to Ra 15-20 as a standard option. The exterior finish<br />
of the housing may be polished or matte bead. Housings and wetted<br />
parts may optionally be provided electro polished – see applicable line<br />
on order valve keys.<br />
