A sport of ‘Hetz Wintergreen’ selected for its dense branching structure
and tall, narrow habit. It maintains this useful, desirable columnar shape
and commercial landscape market, and makes a fantastic specimen
plant at retail. A single leader variety with good deer resistance, it is
Anna’s Magic Ball TM (T. o. ‘Anna Van Vloten’, ppaf, cbraf)
Dwarf evergreens look great at retail and fill a real void in many
landscapes. This bright golden evergreen ball is like a yellow ‘Danica’,
but with looser foliage and a more block-like habit. From Van Vloten
Nursery in Canada, it has good burn-resistance and holds its color nicely
in winter. The bright color and good container presentation is sure to
be popular at retail. Propagation prohibited without a license. Patent/
trademark tag required. USDA 3, AHS 7, 10-15”, gr 1.5
Item #83912 - 2 1 /4” • 83914 - 4” • 83915 - Quick Turn
‘Degroot’s Spire’
Item #: 84172 - 2 1 /4” • 84174 - 4”
‘Filiformis’
A unique, semi-dwarf, thread-leaf white cedar. Its variable habit is conical
to broadly pyramidal or even globose. Thread-like leaves much like
Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Filifera’ but it’s much hardier.
‘Filip’s Magic Moment’
We love this cool, low mounded arborvitae with its graceful sprays of
silver blue foliage. Use this unique Korean thuja in place of junipers or
other low growing conifer. USDA 5, AHS 7, 18 inches, gr 1
Item #: 83862 - 2 1 /4” • 83864 - 4”
“I just received my 2012 order of plants. Everything was in great
shape, the plants are all well rooted and healthy. Having just taken over
the shrub division this past fall, it was great dealing with everyone at
Spring Meadow. Sara was very helpful in getting the order together and
when ever I had questions, the support from the growers was excellent.
I can’t wait to set down and work on my next order”.
“Thanks for all your help!”
Jack Johnson, Manager, Bluestone Perennials
USDA 3, AHS 7, 4’, gr 1.5 Item #84232 - 2 1 /4” • 84234 - 4”
