(2) All Past Presidents <strong>of</strong> the Region (see Article VIII).<br />
(3) The chairmen <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> the standing committees (see Article X).<br />
(4) A representative from each constituent MC, selected by the MC.<br />
(5) Up to five (5) Directors to be appointed at the discretion <strong>of</strong> the MAR President and selected from<br />
members <strong>of</strong> MCs in good standing.<br />
b. Non-voting members:<br />
(1) Any <strong>of</strong>ficer or member <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Directors <strong>of</strong> FJMC who is a member <strong>of</strong> a MC within this<br />
Region shall be, an ex-<strong>of</strong>ficio member.<br />
(2) A Spiritual Advisor (who is selected by the MAR President).<br />
Article VII – Officers<br />
The elected <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> MAR shall consist <strong>of</strong>:<br />
1. President – shall lead MAR, providing both short and long term goals; sign checks with the Treasurer;<br />
sign all contracts after approval <strong>of</strong> the MAR BOD; submit such reports to the FJMC President or FJMC<br />
Board <strong>of</strong> Directors as required.<br />
2. Executive Vice President – shall act in the place <strong>of</strong> the President in his absence; assist the president as<br />
requested; chair the Programming Committee and Convention Committee; shall oversee the adherence to<br />
the budget; coordinate MAR regional liaison activities.<br />
3. Three Vice Presidents – each shall perform such duties as the President may from time to time assign him.<br />
These duties shall include serving as a chair <strong>of</strong> one <strong>of</strong> the following committees: Man <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Year/Greenfield; Education; Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle. Each shall be responsible for visiting and<br />
maintaining a relationship with assigned clubs.<br />
4. Recording Secretary – shall be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate minutes <strong>of</strong> the MAR<br />
BOD, and the Executive Committee meetings, and distribute, through the Corresponding Secretary, MAR<br />
BOD minutes to the MAR BOD and MC Presidents not later than three weeks after the meeting and<br />
Executive Committee meeting minutes to that Committee and any other group as deemed appropriate in a<br />
timely manner but no later than one week before the next Executive Committee meeting.<br />
5. Corresponding Secretary – shall be responsible for the timely distribution <strong>of</strong> notice <strong>of</strong> meetings for the<br />
MAR BOD, and the Executive Committee and <strong>of</strong> events notices; obtain and maintain an accurate list <strong>of</strong> all<br />
names, addresses, phone number, and email address <strong>of</strong> the MAR BOD and MC Presidents. Distribution <strong>of</strong><br />
minutes and notices may be accomplished by the use <strong>of</strong> the US Postal Service, facsimile, or E-mail.<br />
6. Financial Secretary –shall follow up on accounts receivables and see that they are collected in a timely<br />
manner; ensure that MCs are current with their international dues; chair the Budget Committee and the<br />
Audit Committee.<br />
