Advanced Motor Control-Programmable
Logic Controllers (PLC)
An advanced class for the experienced electrician
who has knowledge of motor controls
and Windows for PCs. Review relays, timers,
counters, assembling a PLC with switches, relays
and lights, use of the programming software
on a PC and learning to program a PLC. Ideal
training for traffic controllers or maintenance
electricians. Prerequisite: Electric Motor Control
or relevant trade experience.

Floral Design
In this introductory course, students will construct
basic, commercial style corsages, centerpieces
and arrangements. Learn the principles of

in-depth study of oil burner
controls and wiring. Learn
to troubleshoot and repair
residential oil burner controls
specific to oil heating as well
as hydronic and steam heating. Learn to use
test equipment to set up oil burners for proper
combustion and efficiency. Pipe a residential
hydronic boiler and domestic water heater. Review
troubleshooting oil burners, combustion
and terminology. Use textbooks from Oil Burner
