Lead Wiping<br />
Prepare for <strong>the</strong> Master Plumber’s License Practical<br />
Test. Successful completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lead wiping<br />
portion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> test is necessary to qualify for<br />
Master Plumber’s License Certification in most<br />
<strong>Suffolk</strong> & Nassau County locations. Students<br />
must provide: lead pot, ladle, wiping cloths,<br />
four-inch brass ferrules, four-inch lead pipe, wiping<br />
solder, propane tank & furnace, small hand<br />
tools and miscellaneous materials. Purchase<br />
tools and materials from list provided (approx<br />
cost $400-$550). All tools and materials used<br />
in this class will be needed for licensing tests.<br />
