Hong Kong CSM <strong>2011</strong> – an outst<strong>and</strong>ing success<br />
By all accounts, the Hong Kong Combined Scientifi c Meeting<br />
<strong>2011</strong> was an outst<strong>and</strong>ing success for more than 2000 Fellows<br />
<strong>and</strong> trainees who attended from May 14-17.<br />
To the great credit <strong>of</strong> the Convenor, Dr Chi-Wai Cheung, <strong>and</strong> his<br />
committee, in particular Scientifi c Convenor Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Warwick<br />
Ngan Kee <strong>and</strong> FPM Scientifi c Convenor Dr Phoon-Ping Chen, the<br />
lectures <strong>and</strong> moderated poster sessions were well attended <strong>and</strong><br />
the workshops <strong>and</strong> problem-based learning discussions (PBLDs)<br />
at capacity.<br />
Rounded out by enjoyable social functions coordinated by<br />
Dr Peggy Li, the Fellows <strong>and</strong> trainees <strong>of</strong> <strong>ANZCA</strong> <strong>and</strong> FPM <strong>and</strong><br />
their colleagues from the Hong Kong <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> Anaesthesiologists<br />
(HKCA) gained much from the meeting held in the Hong Kong<br />
Convention <strong>and</strong> Exhibition Centre on Victoria Harbour.<br />
