部 分 觀 塘 綫 延 綫 的 工 程 會 在 現 有 建 築 物 旁 展 開 。 港 鐵 公 司 會 為 工 程 作 詳 細 評
估 , 確 保 工 程 對 周 邊 建 築 物 的 影 響 減 至 最 低 。
在 工 程 展 開 前 , 港 鐵 公 司 亦 會 為 走 綫 鄰 近 的 樓 宇 及 建 築 物 進 行 施 工 前 樓 宇 狀 況
勘 察 , 記 錄 施 工 範 圍 附 近 的 樓 宇 狀 況 , 以 制 定 工 程 期 間 最 適 當 的 施 工 方 法 和
防 護 工 序 。
Some works of the Kwun Tong Line Extension is expected to be carried out close to
the existing buildings. We will carry out detailed assessment in detailed design stage
to ensure the impact to buildings will be minimized during construction.
Prior to the commencement of construction, we will also conduct pre-construction building
condition surveys and record the conditions of the adjacent buildings along the alignment
in order to develop appropriate construction methods and protective measures.
臨 時 交 通 改 道 Temporary Traffic Management
1. 由 於 建 議 在 民 兆 街 與 紅 磡 道 之 間 地 段 設 置 通 風 井 和 緊 急 出 入 口 , 須 拆 卸 連 接 民 兆 街 與 紫 荊 苑 ( 黃
埔 花 園 第 十 一 期 ) 之 行 人 天 橋 , 並 會 在 工 程 完 成 後 原 址 重 置 。 港 鐵 公 司 會 為 受 影 響 路 段 制 訂 臨 時
行 人 改 道 措 施 , 居 民 可 繼 續 使 用 橫 越 紅 磡 道 接 連 紫 荊 苑 與 民 兆 街 的 過 路 設 施 。
The footbridge connecting Man Siu Street and Bauhinia Mansions (Phase 11 of Whampoa Garden)
will be demolished for the construction of ventilation shaft and emergency access. Pedestrian will be
diverted to utilize the crossing facility between Man Siu Street and Bauhinia Mansions. The
footbridge will be reprovisioned in-situ after the construction.
2. 此 外 , 我 們 亦 減 少 徵 用 區 內 土 地 作 臨 時 支 援 工 地 , 其 中 在 華 信 街 及 愛 景 街 / 紅 鸞 道 交 界 的 臨 時 支 援 工 地 已 被 擱 置 , 相 信 可 進 一 步
減 少 施 工 期 間 對 區 內 居 民 的 影 響 。
After detailed consideration and study, MTR will not resume the open space at Wa Shun Street and at the junction of Oi King Street
and Hung Luen Road as the temporary works area to minimize the impacts to residents.
3. 黃 埔 站 以 明 挖 回 填 方 法 建 造 車 站 , 因 此 須 分 階 段 封 閉 紅 磡 道 及 德 安 街 的 行 車 綫 。
Temporary road closure for sections of Hung Hom Road and Tak On Street will be implemented in stages to construct the
underground Whampoa Station by cut-and-cover method.
4. 在 建 造 何 文 田 車 站 期 間 須 臨 時 封 閉 整 段 仁 風 街 , 並 實 施 臨 時 交 通 改 道 措 施 。
Yan Fung Street will be closed temporarily and temporary traffic management schemes will be implemented during the construction
of Ho Man Tin Station.
收 回 土 地 、 收 回 地 層 及 暫 時 佔 用 土 地
Land Resumption, Underground Strata Resumption and Temporary Occupation of Land
因 應 鐵 路 工 程 , 政 府 會 根 據 《 鐵 路 條 例 》( 香 港 法 例 第 519 章 ) 收 回 工 程 所 需 要 的 私 人 土 地 、 私 人 地 層 及 暫 時 佔 用 私 人 土 地 。 刊 憲 方 案 已 清 楚
列 明 有 關 建 議 。 而 發 出 收 回 土 地 、 收 回 地 層 及 暫 時 佔 用 土 地 通 知 日 期 仍 要 取 決 於 有 關 興 建 觀 塘 綫 延 綫 工 程 的 進 度 和 有 關 土 地 需 要 的 日 期 。
The Government may resume private land, underground strata of private land and create rights of temporary occupation of land according to
“Railways Ordinance” (Cap. 519) required for the construction of the railway. The proposed resumption and temporary occupation are shown in
the gazetted railway scheme. The timing of resumption and temporary occupation is determined by construction programme of the project.

The Kwun Tong Line Extension Gazetted
經 過 多 年 討 論 , 何 文 田 、 紅 磡 及 黃 埔 一 帶 居 民
期 待 已 久 的 觀 塘 綫 延 綫 , 已 於 2009 年 11 月 27 日
根 據 《 鐵 路 條 例 》 刊 登 憲 報 , 標 誌 著 該 項 目 踏 入
法 定 諮 詢 公 眾 的 程 序 。
觀 塘 綫 延 綫 將 令 紅 磡 和 何 文 田 區 與 港 鐵 其 他 路 綫
連 接 起 來 , 為 市 民 提 供 方 便 快 捷 的 鐵 路 服 務 ,
免 受 路 面 交 通 擠 塞 的 影 響 , 同 時 促 進 舊 區 發 展 和
提 升 鐵 路 沿 綫 物 業 的 價 值 。
經 過 2008 至 2009 年 的 公 眾 諮 詢 , 區 內 居 民 對
觀 塘 綫 延 綫 項 目 提 供 了 不 少 意 見 , 包 括 車 站 出 入
口 位 置 、 接 駁 設 施 及 通 風 井 位 置 等 。
有 關 項 目 預 計 於 2015 年 落 成 。
After years of discussion, the Kwun Tong Line
Extension scheme was gazetted under the Railways
Ordinance on 27 November 2009 which marked
the commencement of statutory consultation for
the project. The project has long been expected
by residents in Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom and
Whampoa areas.
The Kwun Tong Line Extension will provide
convenient and efficient railway service for
residents commuting in Hung Hom and Ho Man
Tin areas. The new rail line will also help commuters
save travelling time, reduce road traffic congestion
and act as a catalyst for the redevelopment of the
old districts.
Public consultation was conducted in 2008 and
2009 to collect public views on the locations of
station entrance and ventilation shaft as well as
betterment for pedestrian links of Kwun Tong
Line Extension.
The project is expected to complete in 2015.

Updates 黃 埔 站 Whampoa Station
The Kwun Tong Line Extension will drive the development of Ho Man Tin,
Whampoa and Hung Hom areas. The alignment will run along numerous
public and private housing estates, private buildings, schools and commercial
facilities. Public will be able to access the entire MTR networks through the two
new stations, namely Ho Man Tin Station and Whampoa Station. In addition,
the project will bring social and economic benefits:
• saving travelling time;
• relieving road traffic congestion and improving air quality;
• increasing the value of properties along the railway corridor;
• catalyzing the redevelopment of older areas; and
• increasing employment opportunities from tourism and
commercial development.
MTR has been keeping close dialogues with the local community and residents
throughout the public consultation regarding the design of station entrances and
pedestrian connectivity. This newsletter will introduce the latest developments
on the project with a hope that the new rail service could better meet the
community needs with modifications of facilities.

Enhancing the facilities
觀 塘 綫 延 綫 通 車 後 , 黃 埔 站 是 觀 塘 綫 的 終 點 站 , 建 議 車
站 設 於 德 安 街 。
Whampoa Station will be the terminus of the Kwun Tong
Line upon Kwun Tong Line Extension commences service.
The station is proposed to be located at Tak On Street.

加 設 出 入 口 優 化 行 人 通 道 更 加 方 便
Better connectivity with additional
entrance and enhanced pedestrian links
何 文 田 站 是 觀 塘 綫 延 綫 與 沙 田 至 中 環 綫 ( 沙 中 綫 ) 的 轉 綫 站 , 將 來 乘 客
可 在 此 轉 乘 沙 中 綫 往 來 香 港 島 、 九 龍 及 新 界 東 。
Ho Man Tin Station will be the interchange station between Kwun Tong
Line Extension and the Shatin to Central Link (SCL). Passengers can
interchange there with SCL for destinations in Hong Kong, Kowloon
and New Territories East in future.
通 風 井 是 地 下 車 站 及 隧 道 不 可 或 缺 的 部 份 , 為 使 居
民 了 解 通 風 井 的 設 計 和 運 作 , 港 鐵 公 司 於 十 月 底 安
排 了 多 位 九 龍 城 區 議 員 、 區 內 業 主 代 表 、 物 業 管 理
公 司 及 學 校 教 職 員 代 表 , 參 觀 將 軍 澳 綫 調 景 嶺 站 的
通 風 井 , 了 解 設 施 的 運 作 , 以 及 通 風 井 如 何 與 週 圍
環 境 融 合 。
Ventilation shaft is an integral part for underground
railway station and tunnels. We organised a visit to
ventilation shafts at Tiu Keng Leng Station of the
Tseung Kwan O Line for members of Kowloon City
District Council, representatives of owners, property
management companies and staff from schools in
the end of October, providing them an opportunity to
understand the design and operations of ventilation
shaft and how it integrates with the environment.

在 聽 取 市 民 的 意 見 後 , 除 了 會 在 忠 孝 街 加 設 何 文 田 站 出 入 口 外 , 亦 會 進 一 步 完 善
連 接 何 文 田 邨 、 愛 民 邨 和 家 維 邨 等 屋 苑 行 人 接 駁 設 施 。 日 後 , 居 民 除 可 透 過 有 蓋
行 人 通 道 、 行 人 天 橋 或 升 降 機 往 來 何 文 田 站 使 用 鐵 路 服 務 外 , 亦 可 經 何 文 田 站 內
的 公 用 通 道 及 橫 跨 漆 咸 道 北 的 行 人 天 橋 , 便 捷 地 往 來 紅 磡 與 何 文 田 一 帶 。
In response to the views collected in the previous consultation activities, an
additional entrance is proposed to be built at Chung Hau Street. Also, it is proposed
to build covered walkway, footbridges and lifts along the pedestrian link. With these
pedestrian facilities, the public passages within Ho Man Tin Station and the new
footbridge across Chatham Road North, the connectivity among Ho Man Tin Estate,
Oi Man Estate, Ka Wai Chuen and Ho Man Tin Station will be greatly enhanced.
