The bidder shall have to comply for all the details asked under Clause 2.2.5.6 (A) & (B)
and 2.2.5.7 (c ) and (d) against each items of tables given above invariably. In case of
non-submission of same with the offer, the bid shall be liable to be rejected.
2.2.5.8 Redundancy Requirements and Protection Schemes
Equipment redundancy and Automatic Protection Schemes (APS) are specified in the
Table 2-1. The failure of one element shall not prevent the use of any other that has
not failed.

The offered equipment shall support at least SNCP as per standard ITU-T G.841. In
case the equipment offered by the Bidder does not support the above mentioned
minimum protection methods, the bidder shall have to provide all additional equipment
needed to provide same level of flexibility, redundancy and functionality at no additional
cost to Employer. The bidders shall provide details of protection schemes supported in
the Bid document.
The offered equipment shall support automatic switchover function between the
redundant modules and all required modules and hardware to support the automatic
switch over shall be provided by the Contractor.
