444 2. Tenure Steps for On-Call Employees.<br />

Step increases for On-Call Employees will be prorated on the same<br />

basis as Part-Time Employees. On-Call Employees shall receive<br />

shift differential and overtime premiums to include holiday<br />

premiums for designated holidays worked when applicable.<br />

445 3. Tenure Steps for Temporary Employees.<br />

Temporary Employees shall receive shift differential and overtime<br />

premiums when applicable. In addition, step increases will be<br />

given to temporary Employees based on hours worked. Temporary<br />

Employees will receive holiday premiums as set forth in this<br />

<strong>Agreement</strong> for designated holidays worked.<br />

446 SECTION 3 – PAY DAY AND PAY CHECKS<br />

447 A. Payday and Payday on Holidays.<br />

Payday shall be every other Friday. When a payday falls on a holiday,<br />

Employees shall be paid on the day immediately preceding the holiday.<br />

448 B. Direct Deposit.<br />

Employees upon written request may direct automatic deposit of their<br />

paycheck to a bank or saving institution of their choice provided such bank<br />

or institution participates in the National Automatic Clearing House<br />

Association. Employees electing automatic deposit shall receive a check<br />

stub or equivalent information each pay period indicating all payments<br />

made.<br />

449 C. Paycheck Shortages.<br />

Paycheck shortages shall be paid by no later than the end of the next<br />

business day upon request of the Employee; otherwise, paycheck<br />

shortages shall be paid on the next pay period or per applicable law.<br />

450 D. Termination Pay.<br />

When an Employee is voluntarily or involuntarily separated from<br />

employment, the Employee will be paid all monies owed pursuant to this<br />

<strong>Agreement</strong>, state or federal laws.<br />

451 SECTION 4 – PERFORMING WORK IN ANOTHER CLASSIFICATION<br />

452 A. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION Provisions.<br />

When an Employee is required to perform work in a classification other<br />

than his/her assigned classification, his/her hourly wage rate shall be<br />

determined as follows:<br />
