new exhibition in the Albertinum, the<br />

focus of acquisitions by the Skulpturensammlung<br />

was on contemporary works:<br />

• Emil Cimiotti (*1927): Large Dune<br />

(for C. D. Friedrich). 1992<br />

The works by Emil Cimiotti were purchased<br />

with financial support from the Deutscher<br />

Sparkassen- und Giroverband and the<br />

Freundeskreis der Kulturstiftung der<br />

Länder (Circle of Friends of the Cultural<br />

Foundation of the German Federal States).<br />

On 11th October <strong>2009</strong> the works were<br />

presented to the public in the Albertinum.<br />
