Senior <strong>Activities</strong> & Special Services<br />
Newsletter<br />
“Young At Heart News”, the Senior newsletter, issued<br />
three times a year, gives you current information on trips,<br />
special events, services and programs. To cover mailing<br />
costs residents are charged $3 per year, non-residents pay<br />
$6 per year. Newsletters can be picked up free of charge at<br />
the community center or senior center. Subscriptions run<br />
from January <strong>to</strong> December.<br />
Both residents and non-residents of <strong>Westmont</strong> are<br />
encouraged <strong>to</strong> participate and are warmly welcomed at all<br />
activities and events planned for Seniors at the <strong>Westmont</strong><br />
<strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong>. Wherever your interests lie, you will be sure<br />
<strong>to</strong> find something <strong>to</strong> please you. Age is a state of mind!<br />
Come on out and discover for yourself what is available.<br />
Perhaps this is the year you will try our chorus, or join our<br />
bowling league. We do the planning; you bring us your<br />
sense of adventure and a little spare time. Now is your<br />
time <strong>to</strong> enjoy yourself and meet some new friends <strong>to</strong>o.<br />

Location 55 East Richmond Street (the former <strong>Westmont</strong><br />
Library). You can enter either on Richmond or Linden.<br />
There are 6 stairs <strong>to</strong> the lower level and 10 stairs going <strong>to</strong><br />
the upper level. There is an eleva<strong>to</strong>r when you enter on<br />
Linden Street.<br />
Lower Level Dining area, lounge with T.V., stereo,<br />
VCR, blood pressure machine, tables for cards and games.<br />
Upper Level All Senior Services (Legal Service,<br />
S.H.I.P., etc.) plus Watercolor, Line Dance, Senior<br />
Chorus, and Chair Fitness.<br />
Times The Senior Center is open from 8:30AM-4:30PM<br />
Monday through Friday.<br />

Registration All registration takes place at the<br />
Community Center, 75 East Richmond.<br />
Bus Trips Will leave from in front of the Community<br />
Center, 75 East Richmond.<br />
<strong>Park</strong>ing The East side of Linden Street, or the East or<br />
West sides of the Community Center. You are asked <strong>to</strong><br />
park on the West side of the Community Center when you<br />
attend a day trip.<br />
